WILD AND CRAZY PICNIC GAMES
TUG-O-WAR: Two opposing teams see who has more strength
in the great old game of tug-o-war.
DIZZY BAT: Opposing teams line up in a straight line. Fifteen
feet away are baseball bats and a team “counter”. The object is
for each team member to run down to the bat, place their
forehead on one side as the other side stays on the ground and
team member must complete 10 revolutions. Then run
back and tag the next team member.
EGG TOSS: This classic game involves an egg, two members
to a team, and the realization you are getting further away
from your partner. Don’t drop that egg!
WATER BALLOON TOSS: Another classic. This time involving
balloons filled with water. Again, you are wondering why your
team partner is getting further and further away. Don’t get wet!
OVER AND UNDER: Standing in a straight line. A ball is
handed to the first team member. On the word “GO” you must pass
the ball (alternating) over the head and under the legs till the
ball gets to the last person and then it repeats until the
beginning member is up front once again.
FLOPPY HAT RELAY: And you thought you could only wear a
witches hat for Halloween! Each team member wears the hat. With
arms behind you, you must run down to the designated turn around
point, without losing your hat and then make it back to your
next team member.
TOURIST RELAY: You have a suitcase with crazy, rather
large clothing (hat, shoes, etc.) You must put every item on and
run down to the next team member. You then get undressed and your team member puts everything on. This continues until all of your team has gone.
FIREMAN CARRY: Your team is seated in a line so all of you see is the back
of their head. Your team leader has a bucket and the “fire
person” has a cup at the end of the line.
You must fill the bucket with water, and then each member has to
pass it over their heads until the last person pours
the remaining water in the glass. OH YEAH! I forgot, the bucket
have holes in the bottom of them! OOPS!
THE GREAT BALLOON RELAY: A balloon is
placed between your legs and you must try to run down to the
designated turn around point and then run back to the next
member.
WHEEL BARROW RELAY: Need I say more? I just hope your
both strong enough to hold each other up!
THREE LEGGED: Three legs are better than two! At least
if the legs are the same size!
EGG ON A SPOON: An egg, a spoon and the hope you can walk
with it to the next person without dropping it.
WET SPONGE RELAY: A sponge is soaked in water and placed
in the crook of your neck. Without touching it with your hands,
you must run down to the next person in line and pass the sponge. Need a towel?

The Premise
It seems that someone has taken the school spirit, but who?
Through a series of scenes and clues in four
different rooms, the students must try to figure out who and why
their school spirit was taken.
There will be four groups of “clue hunters” who must try to
figure out who did it!
GOOD LUCK!
PROFILES OF THE USUAL SUSPECTS
THE SPORTS PERSON: Popular and well-liked. Not always that
good in school, but he could play sports. Things were a
bit tough for him. He could have won a
scholarship to a sports camp for summer, but he had to have a
grade average of at least 2.65.
THE SMART ONE: A nerd. Everyone teased
him and he did not like it. However, he had been chosen
to attend a very prestigious school and did not care about the school
spirit at his old school.
THE CHEERLEADER: Everything to her was spirit. She was
preppy 24/7. Sometimes people think she was consumed by it. If
she loved one thing, it was spirit. She had thought it should
always be hers and no one else’s. Besides, how could she lose? She
attended the top cheerleading camp. Money for her
was not a problem (thanks daddy).
THE DRAMA STUDENT: All the world is a stage. He was working on a mystery play for his drama
class. He was dealing mostly with his own spirit, the spirit of
the theatre. Even though there was a chance the theatre was
going to be used for the cheerleaders and football team to practice. Perhaps drama would take a back seat.
